The basics
What a lesson looks like
How long
60-90 minute sessions. Pick what works best for you when booking.
What to wear
Closed-toe shoes are required. Sturdy pants or shorts are recommended.
Gear
Loaner skateboards, helmets and pads are available on request.
Helmet and pads
A helmet, elbow pads and knee pads are required during the lesson.

About Yvette
Yvette coaches adaptive and inclusive skateboarding across Los Angeles. She makes room for skaters who have not felt welcome in skate culture: kids with disabilities, girls, women, queer and genderqueer skaters, and anyone who has stood at the edge of a park without going in.
What it costs
Yvette sets her own rate
She works on a sliding scale, so tell her what is workable for your family when you book. Nothing is charged through this website.
Pick a time
Booking is free and takes a minute. Yvette texts you to sort out gear, so the form asks for a phone number. You pay her for the lesson itself when you meet.
